HGS Capital is an independent property finance brokerage specialising in short-term and structured real-estate debt. We act as an intermediary between professional borrowers and specialist lenders, arranging bridging, investment and development facilities where speed, structure and reliability are critical.
As an independent firm, we’re not tied to any lender or panel, allowing us to approach the entire market, from banks and challenger lenders to debt funds and private investors to secure the most suitable structure for each transaction.
Our role is to translate complex borrower requirements into clear, credit-ready proposals that give lenders confidence and help borrowers achieve dependable, timely outcomes.
Our approach
We focus on quality over volume, preparing each transaction with the level of detail expected by institutional lenders, but delivered with the responsiveness of a boutique advisory. Every mandate follows a disciplined process: understanding the project, structuring the debt, coordinating stakeholders and managing the transaction through to completion.

Founder Led
HGS Capital is led by Henry Quekett, who personally oversees every transaction from first conversation through to completion.
Henry holds a Master’s degree in Engineering from Durham University and has spent his career working across property development, construction and structured real-estate finance, including roles within specialist lending teams in the banking sector.
Before founding HGS Capital, he ran a construction business delivering residential and mixed-use projects across London. That hands-on background means he understands how projects work in practice, not just on paper.
Clients value his ability to combine technical analysis with commercial pragmatism, presenting cases that satisfy lender requirements while achieving what borrowers actually need.
